Grouping of medals, insignia and ephemera pertaining to the military service of A.M.Campbell. It would appear Campbell served with the R.G.A. which is endorsed by his paybook and other official documentation with his WWI medal group of War and Victory medals impressed ' R.A. ' and mounted for wear. His WW1 service was deferred and he obtained an official Derby Scheme armband. Group also includes his HG insignia ' EHG 5 ' worn by the 5th Battalion, City of Edinburgh Home Guard. He is listed as a Lt. in 1943 and there is one rank pip included. Finally there is a boxed Defence medal addressed to Campbell at an Edinburgh address. Unresearched.
