Foolscap file bearing an official report and subsequent correspondence regarding an air raid at Warren Hill in the Borough of Eastbourne on 10/11/1940. 14pg file with initial reports of various bombs falling in and around Warren Hill and subsequent identification of large oil incendiary devices and the report of suspected UXBs. Subsequent reports indicate a delayed action and an Incendiary bomb that failed to ignite confirmed by the bomb disposal squad. A further report dated 15th December indicated that the bomb damage repaired to Warren Hill road needed further attention. Scarce contemporary records of the effects of bombing.
