1942 Handbook for the Projector, Rocket, 3-Inch No.2, Mark I Land Service. The Z Battery was a short range anti-aircraft weapon system, which launched 3-inch (76 mm) diameter rockets from ground-based single and multiple launchers, for the air defence of the United Kingdom in World War II and from early 1942, the manning of Z Batteries began to be transferred to the Home Guard.
This 33g manual, illustrated throughout with diagrams, sketches and fold out plates, gives a thorough coverage of the main equipment of the Z Batteries. Accompanied by a plan of Projector layout and a typed amendment to Projector Drill. All items have ben folded with the handbook now without staples with some minor staining. Uncommon.
