Royal Ordnance Factory No.13 lapel badge.

Gilded brass lapel badge with pin fitting for Royal Ordnance Factory No.12. No.13 was R.O.F Macclesfield, Cheshire more commonly known as Radway Green which specialised in small arms ammunition.These badges were introduced in 1940 for workers at the various factories across the UK but were phased out from 1942 because of the their consumption of valuable raw materials.
This badge made by T.L.M.Ltd, B'ham and is numbered 2577 with half moon lapel fitting to reverse. Large amount of bright gilding still present, excellent example.
