Daily Sketch War Relief Fund badge and paperwork.

Daily Sketch War Relief Fund was an extension of an already exsisting fund run by the paper ' The Daily Sketch '. Brought into being in September 1939 the Fund collected money, knitted garments, radios and musical instruments for distribution, mainly to the Services. Workers for the fund were entitled to the white metal, chrome and enamel badge, in this case a pinback version by Fattorini, Birmingham. The badge is in good clean, undamaged condition and is accompanied by two cards from the Fund thanking a Mrs H.Anslow for her gift of wool seaboot stockings.
