750 x 500mm poster entitled 'Lend to Defend' and featuring a bold graphic design by Charles Paine and dated 1940. Printed for HMSO by Vincent Brooks Day & Son, London and issued by the National Savings Committee with the exhortation ' Count every penny, every penny counts'. In good overall condition with some minor edge tears and one ink mark to margin.
