Full USA 'National Household Milk tin which used to contain skimmed milk powder. The National Milk scheme was introduced in December 1941 after milk fell under the rationing scheme the previous month with supplies coming from the US and Commonwealth later in the war. The tin is marked 'Specially packed for the Ministry of Food' and 'From the USA' as well as other important information. Slightly stained and bumped label with minor corrosion. Good example.
