WVS London Civil Defence arm badge.

WVS Civil Defence embroidered arm badge and area title. Arm badge and area title embroidered on felt which replaced flannel from 1941 due to wartime shortages. The badge and London title were worn low on the sleeve although the arm badge does appear both as a breast and beret/hat badge. Both items in good, unmothed condition with clear signs of having been removed from a uniform.
