Impressive hallmarked silver badge for the North Midlands Coal Owners Rescue Stations Co.Ltd ARP personnel who had attended a local ARP course. The North Midlands Coal Owners Rescue Stations provided training and rescue personnel primarily for the coal fields of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Birmingham Hallmarked for 1940 with manufacturer mark for Fattorini & Sons, half moon lapel fitting. One small chip to enamel ( bottom left ) otherwise excellent, patinated overall.
