1941 Bombed Houses of Parliament souvenir - figure.

Lead figure of King Charles mounted on stone produced by the London Stonecraft as a souvenir of the blitzed Houses of Parliament. Tooled Portland stone base with lead rosette featuring the Houses of Paliament ' London 1941 ', the rosette apparently made from the lead from the roof as was the figure itself with this fact cast into the reverse of the figure. These and numerous other items were produced and sold in aid of the Duke of Gloucester's Red Cross and St.John Fund. Item in excellent condition with the exception of a well executed repair to sword and like all of these souvenirs, very heavy.
