Home Guard issue U.S.M.1917 Bayonet and frog.

1918 dated U.S. M.1917 bayonet by Remington for fitting to the U.S. .30.06in rifle, the standard issue rifle of the Home Guard. This provenance is further reinforced by the presence of a '39 Pat. Emergency pattern leather frog. All items in good, clean condition, scabbard manufacturer marked and dated 1918, frog with wear to high points and faintly manufacturer marked and dated to reverse. Blade, clean with some minor marks, all other metal parts with original bluing.
