Woollen four pocket tunic for use by a woman warden in the York Civil Defence. A.R.P.71 Pattern tunic , size 6 5ft 2in to 5ft 4in, Bust 34" - 36", Waist 26"-28" with printed ' Warden ' titles to both sleeves, embroidered CD breast badge with wartime pattern ' York ' area designation below. One year printed war service stripe to r/h sleeve with gold lanyard to l/h shoulder complete with correct belt and manufacturer's label to interior. Excellent, clean , moth free condition.
