Home Guard issue U.S. M.1917 Bayonet and frog.

1917 dated U.S. M.1917 bayonet by Winchester for fitting to the U.S. .30.06in rifle, the standard issue rifle of the Home Guard. This provenance is further reinforced by the presence of a '39 Pat. Emergency pattern leather frog. All items in good, clean condition, scabbard manufacturer marked , frog with some surface cracking and manufacturer marked and dated to reverse. Blade, clean with some minor sharpening marks, all other metal parts with original bluing.
