2nd Battalion Middlesex Home Guard Helmet.

1940 dated MkII helmet manufactured by F & L with size 7, 1940 dated MkII liner. To one side is an inverted ' V ' made up of yellow and red, the regimental colours of the Middlesex Regiment with a white numeral signifying the Battalion to the centre. In this example the numeral is heavily worn but looks to be a ' 2 '. In the attached photos I have included images of this type of helmet being worn. In good, used condition with 90%+ original khaki finish present but worn. Battalion symbol in similar condition. Unusual and uncommon helmet, priced to reflect condition.
