British Booby Trap Switch No.10 Pressure with an Auxiliary Unit provenance. This switch was previously part of the estate of Sgt.Louis Pugh 1910-84 who was part of a Patrol based at Gibbet Oak, Tenderden, Kent, he went on to serve in the R.A.F. as a F/Lt. This switch was put up for sale along with other examples and copies of both the Countryman's Diary and Calendar 1938.The Switch No.10 was intended to trigger an explosive charge by the application of pressure to the plate, recommended to be laid under floorboards, pathways etc.This example in good condition still with the sealing tape over the plate mounting hole which also partially obscures a manufacturer's stamp. Primer and fuse cage a little a/f.
