Embroidered red on blue wool National Fire Service area 27 breast badge. For wear on the heavy duty NFS tunic. Area 27 covered part of Manchester and had it's headquarters in Cheadle. In good condition, retaining much of it's paper backing, with evidence of having been removed from a tunic.
