The Home Guard were issued with numbers of US made 30.06 calibre aircraft pattern Lewis guns, they were fitted with extemporised monopods/bipods and butts to adapt them for ground use. This manual was issued with them and clearly shows it's HG origins with ownership details to front cover. Illustrated throughout and retaining the colour pull out chart. Content clean but with grubby covers and nibbled spine. Scarce
