WLA ' E.S.W.A.E.C. Forewoman ' Shoulder Title.

Very uncommon Women's Land Army shoulder title worn by a WLA Forewoman of members administered by the East Suffolk War Agricultural Executive Committee. The Committees were government-backed organisations tasked with increasing agricultural production in each county of the United Kingdom. First founded in 1915 and re-formed in 1939. Good, used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a greatcoat with one tear to top l/h edge. Scarce.
