MkII No.2c Helmet with Factory Markings.
1940 dated MkII No.2c steel helmet by Fisher & Ludlow Ltd., Birmingham with the markings of a company ' DE Ltd ' stencilled to the front. These markings are repeated in the form of punched details to the the underside of the rim. Size 7, 1940 MkII liner by Compton Sons & Webb.
The mild steel MkII No.2c helmets were identified with the holes to their brim indicating their lack of ballistic protection and as such were issued to Civil Defence, fire watchers etc.
In good, used condition with the usual scares, abrasions etc.
