Spitfire Badge.

Home made, pin back Spitfire badge. These badges were often made from coins, cut, folded and polished with a safety pin soldered to the reverse. This example appears to be silver and bears some initials to the underside of the wings. Sometimes sold in aid of war weapons weeks or simply worn as a patriotic keepsake. Good, clean condition.
