Apparently in unissued condition with unmarked leather headband with a plush forehead cushion, size 7 1/8 and an oilcloth protector, now torn . A.R.P. Bell.
Cast brass bell with wooden handle stamped ARP and marked ' C.B ' to top . Turned, clean finish in contrast to the more commonly found 'Fiddian ' brand with it's rough cast exterior. These bells were used by ARP personnel to signal gas attack or air raid warnings. In good,used condition appears to be missing an end cap to handle. read more
