A superb condition , probably unissued badge for employees of the English Cotton Sewing Company Ltd engaged on War Work. Based in Manchester the Company produced balloon fabric, nylon parachute cloth and utility rayon cloth. Pin back badge, numbered to the reverse produced by Thos' Fattorini, B'ham.

Home Guard slip on shoulder titles.

A good,original, matched pair of probably unissued, Home Guard slip-on shoulder titles. Embroidered cotton on serge, these titles were unofficial and were based on the design adopted by the Regular Army and were probably sourced locally. Apparently in widespread use by 1941 these examples are in unissued condition but displaying their quick and cheap origins.
