'39 Patt equipment was introduced in an attempt to meet shortfalls of the '37 Patt webbing equipment at the beginning of the War. US .30.06 Home Guard Ammunition.
A stripper clip of 5 x .30.06 rounds for use in the US supplied P.17 rifles used by the Home Guard. These rounds are all 1929 dated and made by the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia as denoted by the ' FA ' headstamp.
