1939 dated MkII helmet by BMB ( Briggs Motor Bodies ) with Mk2 liner, white painted with black W indicating the junior supervisory rank of post warden. This is a contemporary over paint with clear ghosting of the earlier diamond rank system still visible.
In good clean condition overall with some scuffs and marks. Interior clean with an undamaged with a 1939 dated, MkI liner by BMB.  read more

Based on the standard German 1kg B1E Incendiary bomb, this is a replica made by the British for training purposes made from steel. Correct dimensions, with a sheet steel fin and a removable cap ( possibly to allow a smoke compound to be introduced ) and correctly weighted. The body is stamped INERT with a serial number and EOD. Good overall condition with minor marking and corrosion . Unusual.  read more
