Created by the National Registration Act of 1939 the Identity Card was a requirement for all. These two examples are for the same person living at a Birmingham address issued in 1940 and the second issue in 1943. Good, used condition with some creasing.

Brass and enamel ' VA ' LDV lapel badge. Half moon lapel fitting to the reverse, no manufacturer's details. Attractive design featuring a parachute, possibly Vickers Armstong ( badges have seen with numbers from 4 to 600 indicating a large company ). In good overall condition.
