V1 rudder.
An excellent example of a rudder from a V1 pilotless rocket. Aluminium covered rudder retaining 85% + of the original painted finish with some surface corrosion to one side. The control bar has been sawn off at the time of recovery but everything else remains. Unfortunately it's story has been lost but it remains a highly scarce souvenir of the world's first cruise missile. read more

Flare Parachute and AA fuze souvenirs.
Two items that recently surfaced from a Nottingham house clearance - white silk parachute as used with German air dropped flares and a 1940 dated No.199 Fuse used with the 3.7" Anti-aircraft projectile. Small document grouping to a Sgt.Alfred John Branch of the 21st Warwickshire ( Birmingham ) Battalion Home Guard. The group consists of his service certificate in original envelope ( Ladywood address ), certificate of proficiency, two 1943 group photographs and a HG Association leaflet.
