Junior Salvage Steward Badge.

25mm plastic pinback badge for a Junior Salvage steward, ' A Cog In The Wheel ' salvage scheme. The scheme was started in 1942 by the WVS in London, in an attempt to involve more schoolchildren in the collection of salvage. Badge manufacturer marked ' F &G ' indicating manufacture by Fraser and Glass. These badges were awarded to the more successful collectors. Uncommon.  read more

Typical example of a toy from the pre War/ early War period beloved many boys. Part of the Anti-Aircraft Units of the British Army produced by W.Britain this example, No:1728 ' Predictor '. Contained in their original economy box with overlaid label and wrapped in tissue the figure and predictor are in excellent condition. Predictor swivels on it's stand.  read more
