Containing 2 x triangular bandages contained in LNER monogrammed envelopes, 1 x boxed first aid dressing and a tourniquet. Carton now a little battered but an uncommon survivor.  read more

Gas mask label issued by Holland County Council ( Lincolnshire ) A.R.P. dept. indicating size and ownership. In this example made out to a Boston address. Accompanying the label is a set of rubber ear plugs of the pattern frequently found with civilian gas masks. Both of these examples were taken from a severely perished gas mask that was thrown away.  read more

Tail fin from the standard German 1kg incendiary bomb taken as a souvenir in 1941. Now painted black with the inscription ' Shirley April 16 1941 ' stamped to the top of the fin. Shirley is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the SE of the greater Birmingham area.  read more
