This Leicester based firm was a manufacturer of machine tools, particularly grinders and lathes and was heavily involved in war production. Manufacturer marked to the reverse ' H.W.Miller, B'ham ' and is in good, used condition with some minor surface abrasions. read more

Fire Force 6-Hessle NFS helmet.
Mild steel, MKII No.2B steel helmet for use by a member of Fire 6 Hessle with it's HQ at Leeds. The helmet has a rough, factory applied khaki finish with the standard water slide transfers to the front. Women's Land Army Shoes.
A pair of size 5L leather, laced shoes for issue to the W.L.A. Made by Henderson of Leicester, these official issue shoes are clearly marked to the leather sole indicating their W.L.A. provenance and their size.
