Tail fin from the standard German 1kg incendiary bomb taken as a souvenir in 1941. Now painted black with the inscription ' Shirley April 16 1941 ' stamped to the top of the fin. Shirley is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the SE of the greater Birmingham area. read more

1941 double-sided leaflet published by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Home Security dealing with the prospect of being invaded. Headed by a message from the Prime Minister and offers practical advice dealing with the immobilsation of vehicles, the authorities, and instructions in the event of invasion.
