RAF Benevolent Fund Victory Bell. Cast in 1945 in metal supposedly from German aircraft shot down over Britain 1939-1945 the bell features a prominent ' V ' on the handle and relief images of the ' Big Three ' leaders, Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin. This example omits the wording around the base indicating it's origins. read more

This is the basic armband worn on joining, further service with the WLA indicated by the addition of diamonds indicating six months service, in this case a year's service is shown.
