General Civilian Respirator - Lincolnshire connection.
A good example of a General Civilian Respirator contained in it's original box. The box carries a Moulton, Lincs address and also contains wartime identity cards for the same name and address as well as some post-war ration books similarly named. Introduced with the distinctive Ulster Home Guard shoulder title, separate unit designations for the individual battalions were issued. Embroidered orange/yellow on khaki, in this case for the Antrim Battalion. Clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform and then subsequently removed from an album,good condition and scarce. read more
