WVS Post Leader armband.
WVS ' Post Leader ' embroidered on felt, armband. The position of Post Leader was created during the decentralisation of the WVS organisation during 1942 to act as a liason with the local Wardens Post. The armband became available in 1943.
This example in clean condition with one very minor moth nip to reverse. read more

Brass and enamel lapel badge for Sir James Laing & Sons National Service. Laings of Deptford Yard, Sunderland were shipbuilders and produced 41 ships during WW2 specialising in tankers. National Air Raid Precautions Animals Commitee issue identity collar disc and owner detail brass disc. Each disc had an individual identity number registered with NARPAC to make the identification of cats and dogs easier in a post raid situation. Plastic and brass discs in good used condition with clear markings. read more
