Gilt and enamel, pinback lapel badge for Cooke's Explosives Ltd., Penrhyndeudraeth. Cooke's site was at Penrhyndeudraeth near Porthmadog, North Wales and produced large numbers of hand grenades. V1 rudder.

An excellent example of a rudder from a V1 pilotless rocket. Aluminium covered rudder retaining 85% + of the original painted finish with some surface corrosion to one side. The control bar has been sawn off at the time of recovery but everything else remains. Unfortunately it's story has been lost but it remains a highly scarce souvenir of the world's first cruise missile. read more
