An excellent example of the white metal ARP lapel badge. This one features the half moon lapel fitting designed for issue to men and has the faint manufacturer's markings for Maples & Beasley. White metal badges were made in the period 1940-43 replacing the earlier silver examples. read more
Rosedowns ARP lapel badge.
Brass and enamel lapel badge for Rosedowns ARP in a stylised Deco design. Rosedowns were an engineering company based in Hull. Half moon lapel fitting to reverse but no manufacturer marks although it is typical of a Fattorini generic design. Good, used condition with some abrasions to the surface. read more
Warwickshire Civil Defence area title.
Embroidered gold on blue, cotton, Warwickshire Civil Defence area title. Similar in design to the later post-war area titles the wartime examples are distinguishable by being embroidered on heavy duty cotton and finished with a merrow edging stitch. In good used condition with traces of glue to the reverse having been removed from an album. read more

Chrome and enamel pinback badge from P.B.Cow & Co.Ltd for ' continuing production during air raids'. P.B.Cow & Co were a company based in Streatham involved in the production of rubber and plastics. They were variously involved in the production of Mae Wests and dinghys for the RAF, gasmasks and barrage balloon components. Fuel Watcher badge.
Blue plastic 'Fuel Watcher' pinback badge. Fuel watchers were created by the Ministry of Fuel and were intially industrial staff, who were authorised to save energy consumption by any means turning off lights etc. The scheme was extended to include non-industrial concerns, shops, schools etc. The badge could be obtained from regional Coal Offices. Scarce badge in excellent, clean condition. read more

Printed cotton 'Warden' armband with cotton tie fixing. Later elastic modification. In good used condition with slight fading to lettering. read more

Embroidered red on blue 'Birmingham' ARP title for use on the boiler suit. Usually associated with the early war period. In excellent condition with some old glue marks to the canvas backing. Scarce. read more
Boxed Dunlop ARP lapel badge.
Silver and enamel ARP lapel badge for the Dunlop Rubber Co. Unissued condition, with overall toning contained in it's original box which is inscribed '1st aid M'. Half-moon lapel fitting to the reverse stamped 'silver'. Box lid grubby otherwise excellent condition. read more
