Early WVS armband in unfinished state. This style of armband was introduced in the summer of 1940 as a standard pattern for the WVS with a 100,000 being made by a London company. This example is in an unfinished state with the cotton armband overlayed on some linen as a stiffener but not yet stitched together, otherwise excellent. read more
