Gas-mask container in the form of a biscuit tin produced by Reads Ltd. of Liverpool for Elkes Biscuits. Brightly coloured with instructions concerning the care of the gas-mask to one side. Generally in excellent condition with some scratches and minor corrosion to lid. Paper label glued into the ' name ' box on the lid with barely decipherable address details.  read more

Upper Thames Patrol cap badge.

Brass o/r's cap badge for the Upper Thames Patrol. This Home Guard formation covered the non-tidal part of the Thames from Teddington Lock to Oxford and was drawn from men from the Berkshire and Middlesex Home Guard.
The badge, which features the arms of the Thames Conservancy surmounting the letters UTP, is in good polished condition. The slider is intact and the rear is toned overall.  read more
