Scotland divided its NFS Divisions into six area designations instead of the numbered regions adopted by England. This example is for the ' Eastern ' division, No.4 Fire Force with its HQ in Dundee. Bronze, pinback capbadge for the Mechanised Transport Training Corps. The MTTC was formed in 1939 to ' train officers for various women's organisations and render any aid '. This aid was largely centred on driving and this uniformed, voluntary Corps set about aiding the various civil defence services. Following service in France the Corps was renamed the MTC in 1940.
