1940 dated Mk2/3 helmet for use by an unidentified factory ( R.G.B. ) First Aid personnel. Grey painted shell with stencilled designation to the front, dated and manufacturer marked to rim. Fitted with a size 7 MkII liner by Briggs Motor Bodies. Good, used condition with some light corrosion to rim with a slightly dusty interior. read more

Uncommon printed, heavy duty cotton, khaki armband worn by the Post Office battalions of the Home Guard. Similar in format to the standard HG armband but with the addition of red GPO devices, This example in excellent, probably unissued condition with some light storage marking. read more

Gilded brass lapel badge with pin back fitting for Royal Ordnance Factory No.8. No.8 was R.O.F Thorp Arch near Leeds which was a filling factory filling shells and bombs with explosives.These badges were introduced in 1940 for workers at the various factories across the UK but were phased out from 1942 because of the their consumption of valuable raw materials.
