US .30.06 Home Guard Ammunition.

A stripper clip of 5 x .30.06 rounds for use in the US supplied P.17 rifles used by the Home Guard. These rounds are all 1929 dated and made by the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia as denoted by the ' FA ' headstamp. This batch of ammunition was supplied along with the weapons in the Lend Lease agreement that provided much of the Home Guard's armament. Rounds are patinated after long term storage otherwise good condition.
