Large, handsome brass and enamel lapel badge for war service with the Citizens Advice Bureaux. Maker marked ' Toye & Co.Ltd, London ' with strong pin fitting to reverse. The first Citizens Advice Bureau came into operation in September 1939 and had passed the 1000 mark by 1942 dispensing advice in the confusion created by the war. In good, clean condition with undamaged enamel with some minor enamel overspill to one edge.
