A 1941 dated example of the Fire Watcher's or Zuckerman pattern Civilian Protective helmet marked for a Fire Guard with the rank of Street Party or Block Leader. Large size shell manufacturer marked ' MPB ' and dated 4-41 fitted with a size 7 liner manufactured by JRS is held by it's original bootlace suspension with a sprung canvas chinstrap.
