Large, ( and heavy ! ) glazed, earthenware food container manufactured by Doulton of Lambeth with manufacturer details impressed to reverse. Designed to provide an impervious, gas - proof receptacle for the storage of food in a refuge or shelter. Good, used condition with a nibble to bottom edge but otherwise undamaged. Scarce.

Firth Brown ARP Lapel Badge.
Die-struck chromed lapel badge for use by Firth Brown ARP members. Firth Brown Steels of Sheffield were heavily involved in war production. Half moon lapel fitting and in good, used condition. These badges feature a particularly poor enamel finish and very few of the various colour ways that exist seem to have survived without some damage to their finish, this is no exception. read more
