Railway service badges were based on a generic design with only the intials of the company to identify the individual railways, they were to be worn in and out of railway uniform. Excellent example of the Civilian Duty Respirator issued to all members of the Civil Defence services and other civilian services. This 1942 dated example manufactured by B.R.F. is in excellent condition with some easily cleaned storage dust and comes with it's carrier, still folded and a tin containing the anti-dim cloth. This is all contained in the original labelled box.
