BSA Tools were part of the larger and famous Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited (BSA). BSA Tools were makers of machine tools much of which were involved in aircraft manufacture during the war.

Issued in 1943 alongside the new National Registration cards, the ' temporary buff card for children under sixteen ' was issued at birth or as a replacement in the event of damage or loss. Intended to last until the holder's sixteenth birthday when it would be replaced by the standard identity card, this example issued in September 1944 to an address in Chesham and re-endorsed in 1951. Wartime St John Ambulance Brigade Helmet.
Black painted wartime MkII helmet with a St John Ambulance Brigade transfer to the front. Helmet does not have any obvious manufacture or date markings but does have a size 7, 1939 dated liner by ' ANP '.
