Printed blue/black on khaki Home Guard shoulder title for the 51st Surrey Battalion, Wimbledon, accompanied by a screen printed Home Guard shoulder title. Both items in good, clean condition with evidence of having been removed from a uniform. Although Surrey titles are amongst some of the more common those from Wimbledon are less common. read more

4pg, illustrated leaflet giving instructions on the use of the Siebe-Gorman Civilian Duty Respirator ( Mk.II ). This respirator was the most common issue to most members of the Civil Defence. Good, used condition with some foxing, has been folded. read more

1941ed. 96pg Cookery booklet entitled ' War-time Cookery ' , numbered edition with the proceeds in aid of Burnley's War Emergency Fund. Costing 1/- and featuring a comic cover the booklet covered recipes from ' Victory and War-time Cake ' to pudding without eggs. This example has clearly been used and is a little tired with chipping to spine and slightly grubby covers. read more

NFS sidecap .
Two coloured,wool, NFS sidecap. Approx. size 7 with chrome and enamel NFS cap badge and chromed buttons. Modelled on the Army's field service cap, this pattern of cap was particularly favoured by female ranks in both the AFS and NFS. This example in clean, used condition, with a number and name inked to the interior above the sweatband and face powder residue to the sweatband.
