A stripper clip of 5 x .30.06 rounds for use in the US supplied P.17 rifles used by the Home Guard. These rounds are all 1930/31 dated and made by the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia as denoted by the ' FA ' headstamp. Shell marked J.S.S. indicating manufacture by Joseph Sankey & Sons in 1939 with a size, 7, MkI liner by Helmets Ltd similarly dated 1939.
