Typical example of a toy from the pre War/ early War period beloved many boys. Part of the Anti-Aircraft Units of the British Army produced by W.Britain this example, No:1728 ' Predictor '. 1943 ' Anti-Aircraft Training Instruction Serial VI ' " Z " AA Artillery '. 26pgs manual setting out training, drills and layouts for the " Z " AA batteries, most of which were manned by the Home Guard. Brass and enamel, pinback lapel badge for the Women's Home Defence League. The League was started in 1941 by Dr Edith Summerskill Labour MP for Fulham West London.
