Classic wartime production with direct printing to tin and salvage slogan, this example also features the ' spidering ' common to tins made under the changed wartime tinplate restrictions. Now empty, this tin is in better than average condition remaining bright with some light marking but all text legible. read more

61 x 30cms approx. single sided, steel and enamel, horizontal shelter sign. A common sight in most towns and cities during the War pointing the way to the nearest shelter. This example is in generally good condition with the usual enamel loss around fixing holes with some marking but the sign looks very presentable. Difficult to source. read more

Pre/early War Taylor and Barrett Auxiliary Fire Service Lead Figures. This partial set has three AFS fire fighters with a wheeled trailer pump with lift-off pump. These scarce figures were only produced between 1938 to 1940 with production being halted by the bombing of the Taylor & Barrett factory. Good, original condition with rubbing and wear etc. read more

The NASC was an umbrella organisation linking the large number of aircraft spotters and recognition clubs that proliferated in schools and youth organisations.
