Stirrup Pump Sign.

Printed paper ' Stirrup Pump ' sign mounted on shaped wooden plate and then over varnished. The stirrup pump was the ubiquitous defence against the incendiary bomb and were located throughout commercial and public buildings, this sign was the location indicator for one of these. Good, used condition with now discoloured varnish.  read more
