Printed cotton ' SFP ' armband for use by Supplementary/Street Fire Parties as issued from August 1940. The reorganisation and subsequent renaming of the Fire Guard in 1941 caused the issue of another armlet, in the interests of economy, a printed overlay was issued for stitching over the original symbol.
